White House rejects calls for eavesdropping special counsel
Edited on Mon Feb-27-06 02:20 PM by spanone
Now there's a BIG surprise!!!! Call me STUNNED.

Ol Scotty said the problem isn't the program, it's the fact that we know about it. AND HE CALLS IT A VITAL AND INCREDIBLE PROGRAM. INCREDIBLE YES. GOD HELP US ALL.

~SNIP~ WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House on Monday rejected the call by several House Democrats for a special counsel to investigate the Bush administration's eavesdropping program.

"I think that where these Democrats who are calling for this ought to spend their time is on what was the source of the unauthorized disclosure of this vital, incredible program in the war on terrorism," White House spokesman Scott McClellan said. "I really don't think there is any basis for a special counsel. ... But the fact that this information was disclosed about the existence of this program has given the enemy some of our playbook." ~SNIP~

The Repugs have screwed up everything that they have gotten their hands on...they were practically handed the time and date of 9/11 and chose to disregard the information...for politics

They had reports and requests for help to shore up the Levies....and they chose to ignore them for politics...

The enemey really doesn't have to do anything do they? They are sitting in their caves laughing at us....getting ready to give them access to our ports .....

3. And selling port operations to Bin Laden's buddies has
not given the enemy some of our playbook? I guess what selling off our ports actually does is give Bin Laden the keys and the directions on how to attack US cities.
