I have a question
If we take back the House this November, are we going to be anymore effective than when we controlled the Senate in 2001-2002?

8. As Stalin once said (paraphrasing), "He who casts a vote decides nothing.
He who counts votes decides everything."

5. The landscape has changed...
The country was just waking up to the nightmare that is this administration during the first half of 2001.
Then came The Day That Changed Everything and the Dems lost whatever fangs they possessed.
Then the mid-terms came and along with them came the Hell we are living in at present.

So, yes, I think the capture of either House would slow these bastards down somewhat.
Maybe get some impeachment proceedings rolling.

6. Yes
House controls purse strings and Dems can do it behind closed doors like the pukes are now. Heads of commities would change. Much more effective, Problem is several Dems are closet repuke.
