2. My guess is...
he is already there. The media like to give him their own boost. If CBS says 34%, it's probably 29 right now.

4. Funny, polls have shown that approximately 20% of Americans....
believe there are aliens embedded in our government.

The true wackos will hang in there.

I personally do not think he will slip past 30.

I mean, damn, 34% should be and is a disaster for them.

And rightfully so.

Bastards.

14. Here is the answer - I don't know how to paste the graphs, sorry.
http://www.tinyrevolution.com/mt/archives/000682.html

With the latest CBS poll putting Bush's approval rating at 35%, he's genuinely entered into Nixon territory. Since polling began, Nixon is the only two-term president with lower approval ratings at a comparable point in his presidency:

GALLUP
Johnson 66% (Oct. 1965)
Reagan 63% (Oct. 1985)
Clinton 57% (Oct. 1997)
Eisenhower 57% (Oct. 1957)
Truman 49% (Oct. 1949)
Bush 39% (Oct. 2005)
Nixon 29% (Oct. 1973)

(All polls are Gallup.)

8. If he's at 34% now ...
... which I doubt, given the state of the pro-Administration MSM (it's probably in the 20s), imagine how those numbers will plummet when:

(a) the ports deal goes through (his supporters are still thinking he'll back off it, once the 'investigation' is done.

(b) it becomes SO obvious that Iraq is a total, irretrievable disaster even FAUX won't be able to continue spinning it.

Then it will be time for the Bush Limbo: "How LOW can you GO???!!!"

He'd have to do something beyond imagination to lose the 33 % base.

13. But some of those same guys have to run in November
I predict that's when the shit will REALLY hit the fan ... when they start to run away from him if it's going to hurt THEIR re-election chances. We're "lucky" this is happening in an election year ...

20. there are probably several variables
other than just the plame gate indictments.

you have jack abramoff, ken lay back in the news, the dubai ports scandal, the economy, the illegal iraq war....this administration of corruption is about to implode.

:)

here's to hoping the media will soon get into a feeding frenzy and start exposing even more of the soft, filthy, festering, corrupt underbelly of this admin!
