tweety vs. Trent Lott: Dubai deal. unbelievable
Edited on Mon Feb-27-06 07:26 PM by Gabi Hayes
dunno if he was just playing devil's advocate, but Tweet was laying out all the junta's talking points, and Lott was PISSED that they bypassed the senate

among other gems, CM praised the job * has done as president, in a very suckuppy way.

Lott was quite good, for one of the few times I've ever seen him

I think he realizes just HOW much fear his partei kommisars have instilled into his own constituents, and fears for his re-election if he goes against the FEAR

how I hope that fear Karma is what finally comes back to haunt them

now the hideous, egregious Susan Molinari is on

want to guess what side she comes down on?

2. Lott is still pissed over Katrina response
When issues strike home, people change (even subtly). I heard Lott didn't like the DPW deal but he also said putting U.S. government in charge of ports wouldn't work either "because I haven't seen the government do a very good job except when it comes to the military or NASA."

17. I'm almost ashamed
to relate our situation after the hurricane relative to those south of us. We had minor damage to the house and lost lots of trees but compared to Pearlington, Waveland, Bay St Louis, Chalmette, New Orleans East we were damage free. We are fine and dandy but dreading the next hurricane season.

8. It Will Take A Lot To Get Him Fired....
Heck, people from DU continue to watch and complain about him, so he's probably not going anywhere.

Perhaps if people like those from DU stop watching him, his ratings might go low enough to get him cancelled. But with friends like us, he doesn't have to worry about enemies.

I know, I know....you have the right to watch him in case he says something intelligent. Go ahead, I'd rather watch Sponge Bob reruns that Tweety head.

5. I NEVER Watch Tweety Anymore... For Some Reason He's
been ON BOARD with "the corrupt ones" from the time it was first announced!

Could it be that he's getting some kind of kick back?? I KNOW his brother is running for some type of Repuke office and THAT may be what it is, but for crying out loud... this is sooooo SUCKKY-FACE for sure!!

We MUST do something... we REALLY REALLY must!

10. I'm just so glad to know that Lott is pissed at Bush*. That's the story.
Bush* has basically told the people and Congress to go fuck themselves and I think the people and the Congress are finally starting to get a whiff of it.

13. zackly....I should have put that in the header....I meant to
Lott has axes to grind; at least two: the abandonment over his unfortunate remarks re: the dead senator, and his handling of Katrina/Mississippi

he's worried about his constituents' response to the way HE responds to scumbo

to get something on him to assure a pardon for the Plame thing, or god knows what other crooked thing I hope they indict him for

Paraphrasing, "he was in our face, threatening a veto before he even explained it to us. Well, then I just may vote to overturn it". I was left pretty slack-jawed.

23. Roger Simon and WHoreward Fineman are both suggesting
that * pull out of the deal, as it's best for him politically

tweety once again slobbers over the great job * did "rallying the country around terrorism"

he really said almost those exact words...especially TERRORISM!

now he's talking about Rove/Hillary obsession.

can't resist hammering her: quoting that she's brittle, unspontaneous.

simon and Fineman LAUGH when he says this

how I HATE them

tweet: is there a chance she can WIN (his emphasis)

he can't IMAGINE the possibility

says she has a one in four chance of winning: "would you give her THAT much chance of winning?"

he's more than disgusting
