1. Sorry ...
This battle was lost when the Democrats in the United States Senate voted to invoke cloture and stop a filibuster of Scalito.

Sorry.

Another internet petition is meaningless.

4. Actually, it was lost when so many so-called progressive voted for Nader
in 2000.

Roberts and Scalito would have been confirmed - one way or the other.

14. too late, DINO's rolled over on the Alito filibuster
I still get shit for saying that truth.
So I'm done. Roe will go until cons die off and we put SCOTUS back on the justice track. Old paper stuff like interpreting the Constitution. Then we can vote congress-people back in who will re-enact Roe. But with DINO's in charge, it will never happen.

I fought like hell, though! Pretty discouraging. After decades of fighting, this is the omnistupid era. Big stupid.

16. What I want is a PLAN from these groups on how we're
A) going to inform women that regular birth control bills can be used in lieu of Plan B and how to get supplies available

B) the plan for an underground and nurses everywhere who can perform abortions with the simple equipment easiy available

and

C) how we can ratchet up the rhetoric, focus on the abuse the Radical right holds toward women's health, and also radicalize women across the country.

I'm sick of petitions. I'm sick of the "law." It's time to take control and set yp an alternate system and have it in place from day 1!

War on Choice

The current federal administration and Congress have revived retrograde anti-choice policies, installed religious political extremists in key administration posts and on the federal bench, and pushed ideology rather than scientific or medical evidence in domestic and international reproductive health policy. All these measures threaten women's rights and health, not only in the U.S., but around the world. The effects will be felt first and foremost by poor women everywhere, but will ultimately touch everyone.

17. Roe is gone. She is pro-life now anyways....
A bit late to fight from the federal level now. It will be chipped away over the next few years and eventually given back to the states to decide sometime early in the next decade.

Its now a STATE battle. Its up to each of us to concentrate the forces on our states & mobilize. Put bills on the books NOW in the states. Elect the right governors, state representatives that will keep your state safe. This is the reality of the situation. If we don't act in the states now...8-10 years from now we will all be complaining that too many states have too many restrictions. NOW it the time to act.
