2. I'm not sure.

The goal would be to improve the quality of DU posts. Bring the writer out of the writers, so to speak. Just a long shot idea to make things better at a fairly good place. On the other hand, there is the ubiquitous philosophy of "it ain't broke, don't fix it." And DU ain't broke.
