Most of the good threads in GD sink like a stone, ignored because they aren't tinfoily/breathless/scolding/hysterical (OMG!!) enough for the rest of the forum. Those kinds of threads invariably draw dozens of replies, senseless flame wars, and unaccountable greatest votes.

GD is like DU's junk drawer. Lots of gems and hidden treasures if you dig enough, but mostly shit that should have been thrown away.
