I was wondering why Dobbs was getting away with it - HE HELPED FOUND CNN

His history is worth a read:

http://www.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_reporters/dobbs.lou.html

Founding member CNN'S transition to big cable news. He was PRESIDENT.

I guess that gives him a little more say then your average talking head.

Thanks Lou! Great, incredible job!

4. To clarify, he was the president of CNNfn
I think CNNfn was a financial news network and executive vice president of CNN:

from the link in the OP:
"During his tenure at the network, he helped CNN become the leader in television business journalism and oversaw the launch of CNNfn and CNNfn.com in December 1995. He managed the network as president of CNNfn and executive vice president of CNN until June 1999 when he left the network."

6. IMHO, Dobbs beats Olbermann
Edited on Tue Feb-28-06 12:24 AM by Bozita
Olbermann bitches on-air that he's forced to do Michael Jackson and Tom Cruise type pieces. But he does them.

Lou doesn't do car chases or any of that inane celebrity shit.

Long live Lou Dobbs.
