Don't Let the GOP Get Away From Bush/Cheney
Now that Bush and Cheney are continuing to sink to all time lows (34% approval for Bush, 18% for Cheney), we must sink the GOP Congress with them... Don't let them swim away from the sinking ship.

Just remember to tell your GOP Friends that:

The GOP Congress Rubber Stamped Bush's Agenda (think Illegal War in Iraq, Corporate Welfare for Offshoring, Increasing H1-B Visas and ignoring Illegal Immigrant workers, and lack of Border Security)

The GOP Congress Rubber Stamped Bush's Spending (think record BIG GOV'T SPENDING, 8 TRILLION DOLLARS)

The GOP Congress Rubber Stamped Bush's Cronies (think Katrina, Dubai Port Deal)

The GOP Congress Represents Bush's Interest, not Yours, that's why they won't stop Torture, Domestic Spying, or $7 Billion in Welfare to Oil Companies

The GOP Congress did all that Rubber Stamping because they like lining their pockets with bribe money.

Like it or Not, the GOP is now associated with failed foreign policy, corporate welfare, big government, unbridled spending, torture, corruption and carving up the country and selling it off to the highest bidder thanks to your GOP Congressmen and the Bush administration.

1. My good GOP friend put in another way. There is no food
for the hungry or medical treatment for the poor. She can no loner endorse W.

4. All things considered
let's bronze the GOPers who DON'T care about such things, since the process would most likely be fatal.

:D

2. One wonders...
...if there is any money that is not too dirty for some Republicans to handle.
I am thinking specifically of the Marianas Islands, Tom Delay, and Abramoff right now...
just a few of the many 'shining lights'.
Enough to make you sick.
:puke:

5. I think we should hammer this point home all the time...
And, assuming we get these yahoos out of office and get a Dem majority in congress, we need to work on changing the way people see Repugs in general. See my post "Never Again" on the Greatest page.

7. Thanks, that's a great post

I think you are right... they are trying to make Bush the Martyr here to make themselves look better for this year's election.

But we all know the GOP Congress is equally to blame... we must restore checks and balances to the Congress by putting in lawmakers that won't rubber-stamp Bush's agenda. Just look at the past 4+ years to see what kind of evil that has caused.

8. It has been the GOP agenda not the Bush* agenda
They have all worked hand and fist to enrich the already extremely wealthy and shit on the middle class and poor. It is the GOP that is evil and not Bush* per se, although he is as well.

9. Yes, I agree. But if you are going to speak to a reasonable repub
You can't make them think you believe they are evil... you have to show them that the party leadership in Congress is the bad group.
