"Bolton Blasts 'Sex and Corruption' at U.N."
NEW YORK (AP) - The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said Saturday that the world body is hobbled "by bad management, by sex and corruption" and a lack of confidence in its ability to carry out missions.

John Bolton also criticized the U.N.'s budget, noting that two-thirds of members pay only 20 percent of the cost.

"We find an organization that is deeply troubled by bad management, by sex and corruption and by a growing lack of confidence in its ability to carry out missions that are given to them," Bolton told an audience at a Columbia Law School symposium held by the Federalist Society, a conservative law organization.

Bolton, a longtime critic of the U.N., has been leading U.S. efforts to reform the United Nations after the oil-for-food scandal and sex scandals involving U.N. peacekeepers.

1. People who complain about sex are 98% likely to be not getting any
of their own.

4. A righteous man clearly troubled by fornication

I wonder what he makes of the practically monthly rape cases involving US personnel in Okinawa and other posts around the world?

Probably calls for a rollback of the American military empire, right?

6. Wow. Didn't take Bolton long to do his investigation
Damn that was quick. With his skills he should be able to reform the entire U.N. in about six months. Then he can turn his attention to the corruption that is rife within his own political party. Too bad that to clean that up he'll need access to nuclear weapons.

15. Bolton's ex-wife left him due to his demand for group sex
Corroborated allegations that Mr. Bolton’s first wife, Christina Bolton, was forced to engage in group sex have not been refuted by the State Department despite inquires posed by Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt concerning the allegations. Mr. Flynt has obtained information from numerous sources that Mr. Bolton participated in paid visits to Plato’s Retreat, the popular swingers club that operated in New York City in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

“The first Mrs. Bolton’s conduct raises the presumption that she fled out of fear for her safety or, at a minimum, it demonstrates that Mr. Bolton’s established inability to communicate or work respectfully with others extended to his intimate family relations,” said Mr. Flynt. “The court records alone provide sufficient basis for further investigation of nominee Bolton by the Senate.” These court records are enclosed here as an attachment. Mr. Flynt continued, “The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations must be free of any potential source of disrepute or blackmail.”

18. *rotfl* ~ Bolton, apparently a sexual pervert, complaining about 'sex'
in the UN is like Ledeen, one of the main architects of the disaster in Iraq, now demanding 'accountability' for those responsible for the torture there!!

The pattern seems to be that whatever they condemn, is what they themselves are doing or have done.

Maybe the sex in the UN is normal and Bolton doesn't approve of normal sex? Sort of like Scalia, who thinks Americans need to be involved in orgies to relieve tensions ~ yet opposes abortion, presumably even if a pregnancy occurs as a result of such orgies. These people are insane ~ lunatics and I don't know why it is taking so long to get them out of office before they do any more harm.

Thanks for the link, George Oilwellian (love the name btw). I did remember those stories, and yes, I think Bolton is projecting.

20. Here are a couple of links on sex scandals at the UN.
Lest you think it's Kofi getting some from an intern and, well, that's ok or to be expected. As many posters seem to think.

Widespread allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse of Congolese women, boys and girls have been made against U.N. personnel who were sent to help and protect them — despite a so-called zero tolerance policy touted by the United Nations toward such behavior.

The range of sexual abuse includes reported rapes of young Congolese girls by U.N. troops; an Internet pedophile ring run from Congo by Didier Bourguet, a senior U.N. official from France; a colonel from South Africa accused of molesting his teenage male translators; and estimates of hundreds of underage girls having babies fathered by U.N. soldiers who have been able to simply leave their children and their crimes behind.

The team from the UN's Refugee Agency, UNHCR, is trying to find out the extent of the abuse of women and children by aid-workers.

A study by the UNHCR and a UK charity made public last month found that some aid agency employees were exchanging food and other supplies for sex.
================

But hey, they're just African "refugees" in war zones and suffering from hunger. What's a little rape and sex-for-food if we can make light of it to ridicule a neo-con? Let les bons temps roulez, at least for those that hunger after piece.
