The Calm Before the Storm: Beware the Ides of March!
Beginning in March 2006, the Tehran government has plans to begin competing with New York's NYMEX and London's IPE with respect to international oil trades – using a euro-based international oil-trading mechanism.

On March 20, 2006, Iran will start selling oil in euros.

Remember, it was Saddam who began selling crude on the euro, and we know how that transpired...

9. I hate March
It's full of tragedy, personal and worldly. I try to sleepwalk through the month, but every year it bites my ass, I wish I could go to sleep tonight and wake up on the first of April.
