DU this poll! Canada combat in Afghanistan (frees up US troops for Iraq)

Last week, a poll showed that 62% of Canadian opposed a combat role for Canadian troops in Afghanistan and 73% wanted a debate in parliament to decide the issue. The new Harper govt has said it will not debate the issue.

Now this poll shows more public support for combat missions. Help!
