"I'd Rather Go Hunting With Dick Cheney, Than Go Riding With Ted Kennedy"
One of the guys from my department recently transferred, so today I check out his office to get it ready for a new hire. There was this homemade sign that the previous occupant had made that was taped on the wall. I should scribble on there "well would you want to ride with Laura Bush instead?" but figured it wouldn't do any good since he is no longer here to read it. I know he was probably busy packing and everything, but I wonder why he didn't bother to take that sign down? Some folks are just so partisan, ya know?

2. Cheney likes the drinky, drinky, drive, drive himself
Given Cheney's DWI record I think I'd rather not do either with him. The funny thing to me is Cheney is such an elitist SOB he wouldn't allow the poor sap to shake his hand let alone drive or shoot with him.

3. Question for you
I understand what you're saying about the handmade sign--I've had this garbage emailed to me.

But were you able to scrounge anything from his cube? You know the proper protocol, don't you?

-Goodbye lunch for the employee who is leaving.
-Exhcange email addresses.
-Wait for them to walk out the door.
-Scavenge cube for everything it's worth.
-Take cube as your own if
-a: it's in a better position than your own, and,
-b: you can get by with it.

15. No, can't do any of that.
I'm only an office assistant. I like him, he's a nice guy (kind of cute too) but I just don't like his politics. He listens to Rush. Blech!

7. I'd rather not read that on a wall at work
and I'd rather have a President and Vice President I could trust and look up to rather than a idiot and a poor shot. Dick f'ed up because he's not a straight shooter. Impeach them all. :eyes:

8. I'm never going to understand that meme.
All other issues aside, given a choice, I'd rather take my chances climbing out of a sinking car than take a round of birdshot direct to the head.

9. I agree with orleans
Either that or he realized how assinine the sign is and didn't want to be embarrased by it in his new digs.

17. I definitely don't think the later is the case because he could have
just thrown it in the trash. I wonder if he used the company's color printer to print that? Hmm. :-)

But, then, I figured it wasn't really a myth. It's just stupid.

18. Go Ahead!
I'd be happy to see him go hunting with Cheney. And since he's a nobody, if he got shot, they've leave him in a shallow grave, like it never happened.

She replied back with:

"Shoot with Dick Cheney?? Ride with Ted Kennedy?? I'd rather give Bill Clinton a blow job."

22. Saw that on the board at work
it was promptly removed. That was also a team name at trivia last week. My response would have been "I wouldn't apologise if I was shot." :D
