1. What the guy does something right for once and becomes
a hero here at DU? Isn't Dobbs the guy that was faming the flames of "Mexicans" taking our jobs last year?

4. Dobbs is no better than Cosby or Hannity
He's scoring points on this one issue but I still can't stand to even look at the guy.

3. He may have been, but at least he's consistent in support of U.S. labor
He continued to focus on the outsourcing issue when others put it on the back burner (even shaming companies by putting up a crawl of those that ship jobs overseas). He seems to be angrier about border security and at the companies that exploit workers crossing the border than the workers themselves (which I agree with). And his performance on this ports issue has been really good -- I think he was one of the first reporters to devote the majority of his show to it.

6. I've been watching Lou for quite a while, and from what I've seen,
he objects to ILLEGAL aliens, not immegrants! He blames employers for giving jobs to illegals, and abusing them with low wages and no benefits. I KNOW that's true! I see it here all the time, as I did when I lived in San Antonio!

Listen to Lou for a few days, and see if you feel the same way.

7. That's my take, too
Dobbs began as a business reporter -- he is pro-business, and he understands that to do business well, you also need to be pro-labor. He sees the value of the middle class for business (who's going to buy the stuff you produce if you don't have a consumer class?) and gets angry when companies don't compensate their workers adequately to allow them to live that middle class lifestyle. He actually gives being "pro-business" a good name (in my book).

9. Lou is also against a lot of issues
- War on the Middle Class
- Church and Politics

He may have contributed to the Republican party before, but Greta is a Democrat, so go figure.

One think you cannot deny is his passion and unwavering patriotism. He has done a GREAT job on the ports issue, and I think we owe him our gratitude, so if you guys can send him an email, or better yet, the bosses at CNN an email of support, that'd be great.

I, for one, hope that he has some sort of security detail - I am worried for him.

10. I sent a thank you to Lou & CNN yesterday!
I don't agree with ANYBODY 100% of the time...even myself! I think Lou has been doing a good job for the American people for a long time now, and on the nights he dones an eceptional job...link last night...I send an email! You KNOW the fundies are always bit**ing about this kind of thing, I think Lou & CNN needs to know there are a lot of supporters out here for them to cover the true news!
