Really! Lou Dobbs seems to be SO MUCH BETTER..than Olbermann...
I tuned in last night for Olbermann's Fukiyama (PNAC RECANT) and had to sit through many minutes of Sports Trivia before I got to the three minute Fukiyama Report that Olbermann (MSNBC) was hyping. I don't have time to scroll through Olbermann for a five minute interview.

YET...Lou Dobbs seems to be reading all the Lefty Sights....AND! he reports on CNN SENATE HEARINGS...which is so lacking everywhere on the M$M!

I don't trust Dobbs ...but he's doing a BANG UP JOB REPORTING! And, maybe because he is truly a Libertarian/Conservative or Maybe because CNN realizes that it's NOT FAIR AND BALANCE..or whatever.

But, if I had to watch "Tweety" (Chris Matthews) over Dobbs or Olbermann..I'd go for "more bang for the buck" with Dobbs!

1. Love Keith; forget Tweety. Lou like a tough guy uncle I had. I like Lou.
He is not apologetic. He is moving up in my estimation incredibly rapidly. A tough guy on OUR side! Screw Limbaugh, O'Reilly, and clever responses (which I think are great - thank you Jon Stewart) - but right now, Lou is me. I am Lou. I am sputtering with anger, and have been for years, and it's about damn time that anger is expressed.

3. Did you see him tonight with James Zogby?
OMG, he was absolutely smacking him down on Zogby's accusation that opposition to the ports deal is "racist." Dobbs would NOT back down ... Nice to see someone really refusing to be misinterpreted or pushed down.

2. Y'all have to remember Lou is a Conservative. That isn't a bad thing
but as much as we bash Dinos around here it makes me wonder why DUers like him.

I've been trying to say that Conservatives aren't all bad. But I get blasted. So why is everyone liking Lou now?
He hasn't changed a bit.

4. this might be why he's on fire with the ports

~snip~ On Monday’s installment of “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” Dobbs claimed that officials from Dubai Ports World, the company in the middle of the current port controversy, are putting pressure on CNN to silence him and CNN’s coverage of this issue (video link to follow): ~snip~

5. Lou is more of a "one trick pony"
Economics is his primary interest. Keith is more of a humorist and covers almost anything. Many are enjoying Dobbs now because Bush is not an economic conservative and Lou does not usually go deep into social issues unless they have an economic impact. That's why you get more bang for the buck with Lou, that's his primary interest, the buck.

7. There's enough love for both these guys...
and many more, It's not "either / or"
It's "AND... AND.... AND... AND..."
The sound of outrage is building
and Bush is on the way out.

Every voice deserves our support.

8. exactly. what gets through to one might not to another
Look at the Daily Show and Colbert. Both get the message out with humor from opposite views, sort of.

There is room at the big table for both, isn't there?

9. Exactly.
I've never understood the need for an "either/or" choice on things like this. I enjoy a variety of Ice cream flavors, music genres, and travel destinations, too. Why be so self-limiting?
