3. I watched the Twilight Zone marathon on Sci Fi this weekend...
It is amazing how many of those stories are still relevant today.

7. I watched it too!!!
I also found an interesting quote from Rod Serling. It was the episode called The Obsolete Man. Burgess Meredith played a librarian in a futuristic, fascist govt and the govt had decided, since there were no more books, that made the librarian obsolete.

At the end of the show Rod Serling said:
'Any state, any entity that fails to recognize the dignity, the rights of man is obsolete.'

I thought it was pretty cool!! I even added it to my sig in another group.

.......I thought it was perfect!

Just the fact that Bush has managed to steal 2 elections could be a Twilight Zone episode in itself!!

13. The nation's soldiers stand poised on an island of now in an ocean
of time; staring at a purple sunset of fear, doubt and the absence of all reason. And these ordinary soldiers are about to experience the supernatural terror of a benighted battlefield in a besieged country we call...the Twilight Zone.

I thought I'd try my hand at some topical Rod Serling-style prose.

What do you think?
