Keith Olbermann: Nancy Grace the worst person in the world!
It has been disclosed that, unlike Nancy Grace's account of events, her fiancee was shot by a co-worker who was mildly retarded. The co-worker was convicted of murder, and he did not appeal.

Nancy Grace's version was that her fiancee was murdered by a career criminal who got off thanks to slick lawyers.

No wonder she made Olbermann's worst person in the world on tonight's broadcast.

Thanks for the article!

13. Omigod. That is the most vile lie I think I have ever seen.
Using the murder of a loved one to bolster your resume'...ugh. What a self-promoting, sleazy, lying ho.

15. I agree with you, Spiffarino!
I always thought she was a vile person, but now I know she is also a liar that has exploited the tragedy of her boyfriend for her own purposes.

19. Thanks for the link--
the facts in the article read a tad different than I've heard Ms. Grace state them. Interesting...

I've always disagreed with her stance on defense attorneys. For every five guys they represent that did commit a crime, there's another man or woman that did not. While I may disagree with the fact that some of the guilty get away with what they do (if they have enough money to afford the best), it is a necessary evil.

Did I like what Johnnie Cochran did for OJ--hell no. Do I think it's justice? Absolutely not. But ultimately Cochran and his team did their job. I have bigger issues with the prosecution and the jury selection for that case than I do with the defense. Again, as much as I dislike what happened they did their job.

I would ask Ms. Grace to check out the stats regarding those that were convicted prior to the availability of DNA evidence. Not every man or woman incarcerated or sitting on death row actually did what they were convicted for. But not all of those people had the means to have a great defense. Why isn't she bitching about that?

Sorry to go off on a tangent.

Well, when rot and corruption spread, some confuse it with "soft spots." Soft like a rotten piece of fruit.

17. To cable viewers, she now has her own show on CNN Headline News
prior to that, she was one of the legal talking heads that the networks relied on during big celebrity trials, such as the Peterson and OJ cases.

35. She is on Court TV and now has her own show and ALWAYS thinks
the defendant is guilty. She got on my nerves a long time ago and I stopped watching. She is never unbiased and she always brings up the fact that she was a vitim of violence. Now that I read that story....the killing was almost 30 years ago!

Maybe she hasn't moved on because her fiance's death has served her career so well. I hate even saying that but why would the woman not ever get involved in another relationship?

9. Keith has 74000 more viewers than Nancy.
However, Tweety beats them both. What a shame that Keith keeps moving lower and lower in the ratings. He hits the nail on the head and very few people are watching.

37. It is because of all the reality shows on at 8PM. Tweety is on
at 7PM - not a hard spot to get a good rating on.

Local shows always fight for the 8 and 9PM spot.

And I guess I must admit right now that I am addicted to American Idol and I miss Keith's show when it is on. But Idol has run away with ratings and I'm sure that has taken away from Keith.

10. Nancy said her fiancee was shot by someone who didn't know him
but, the guy was a co-worker who had been fired and knew her fiancee. Nancy said she was asked by the prosecutor if she wanted the death penalty and she said no, but the prosecutor doesn't remember talking to her and there is amble evidence that the prosecutor asked for the death penalty on his own volition, but was rebuffed by the jury. Nancy said the jury was out 3 days to reach a verdict, but the entire trial to include the verdict took one day. She has also said the guy who killed her fiancee filed an appeal and he has not. He filed a habeas corpus about five years ago that was denied after a one day hearing. His family and him have never wanted an appeal of the conviction. She is no better then Frey in my opinion. Notice how these holy people always seem to turn out to be lawyers.

18. The other detail is that she maintained the killer was a career criminal
but as it turns out, the guy had no rap sheet at all.

In essence, Nancy's whole story about why she was motivated to become a crusading lawyer is crumbling into "a million little pieces."

36. Oh my god. She got her fiancee age wrong. He was 23, not 25.
That must have been a devious plan to somehow win sympathy, because nobody would care if he was 25. That's way too old. 23, on the other hand...
And she got the perps age wrong too. Again, a devious plan on her part.
Geez.
