sure, some republicans may have committed a few sins here and there, certainly nothing like the sin of fellatio, but little sins, like genocide and torture, and the lord will forgive them, therefore, so do i.

2. I was just discussing this the other day...

I noticed that Jack Abramhoff asked forgiveness from the "almighty" in his written statement. How hilarious is that? Can you just imagine what God is thinking looking down at this mess? They know nothing of Christianity or even morality and as soon as they are caught doing something horrible, they invoke the name of God. May they burn in hell. God knows the heart and there is no forgiveness for them. Just because they say that they accept Christ as a last ditch attempt, does not mean they are going to heaven. It has to be pure in the heart and demonstrated with actions of repentance. I do not believe for one minute that these people can do that.

the "Sin no more" plus a deliberate effort to avoid future crap and clean up the mess you made.
1-Acknowledge the error
2-Avow not to do it again-ever
3-Repair the damage
4-REALLY serious effort to follow through on these principles

I really can't believe that the "born agains" believe that he is "one of them". For the past 5 years I have been wondering why the sheep believe Georgie when he claims to be one of them. Are they really *that* brainwashed?
