bush loving bornagains will soon be applying the principle of Forgiveness |
|
Edited on Thu Jan-05-06 05:59 AM by mopaul
they'll be applying it to george, tom, jack, duke, dick, and any other scumbag who simply invokes the good name of Jesus to use as a shield. i've seen it many times, a guy gets caught doing some white collar crime and starts toting around a bible on his way into court.
and i can hear the bornagains already: 'the lord will forgive you for your sins, even hitler could've gone to heaven had he simply accepted christ, because christ forgives us for our sins', etcetera etcetera etcetera.
sure, some republicans may have committed a few sins here and there, certainly nothing like the sin of fellatio, but little sins, like genocide and torture, and the lord will forgive them, therefore, so do i.
amen

Just like when their hero Rush first got busted with his drug habit, the chant was: We'll see how compassionate the liberals really are. haha I don't know about my fellow leftists here but I have little to none for hypocrites.

I noticed that Jack Abramhoff asked forgiveness from the "almighty" in his written statement. How hilarious is that? Can you just imagine what God is thinking looking down at this mess? They know nothing of Christianity or even morality and as soon as they are caught doing something horrible, they invoke the name of God. May they burn in hell. God knows the heart and there is no forgiveness for them. Just because they say that they accept Christ as a last ditch attempt, does not mean they are going to heaven. It has to be pure in the heart and demonstrated with actions of repentance. I do not believe for one minute that these people can do that.

3. Part of forgiveness has to include |
|
the "Sin no more" plus a deliberate effort to avoid future crap and clean up the mess you made. 1-Acknowledge the error 2-Avow not to do it again-ever 3-Repair the damage 4-REALLY serious effort to follow through on these principles These ugly miscreants' only sorrow is that they were caught.

7. That's why I don't trust the Talibornagains |
|
They follow through all the way to "your past sins are forgive", and somehow always forget about the "sin no more" or "repair the damage" aspects.

6. They base their entire life on the idea that |
|
a last-minute deathbed confession and acceptance of Christ will get them into heaven, after a life of selfishness, greed, and sin.

8. That's what they've been taught. |

Leading poititicians and clergymen espouse it. Why shouldn't they believe it?

10. I just can't believe they fell for it in the first place! |
|
I really can't believe that the "born agains" believe that he is "one of them". For the past 5 years I have been wondering why the sheep believe Georgie when he claims to be one of them. Are they really *that* brainwashed? I can't believe they look at his behavior (starting wars, lying, robbing the poor to give to the rich...just a few of MANY examples) and believe that it is "Christ-like"...in ANY way.
