Caller from Peoria to CSPAN on that Abramoff scandal program last night... |
|
"We need change" and pointed out the excess zeal and commitment of dollars to impeach Clinton over something that was not a concern of government. Folks, this is not playing in Peoria.

72 million to investigate Clinton's blowjobs and not one dime to investigate Bush's violation of the constitution?
Some people actually notice the incongruity.

5. I hope our Congress had a miserable holiday. |
|
I hope they were besieged with pissed off, disillusioned, and just plain mad constituents.
"You want a check? Get that Abramoff guy to write one!"

6. I'm always wary of that |
|
people who identify themselves as one party or philosophy, and then proceede to speak out against it.
Its like those morons who call in to Rush, and say "I've always been a lifelong democrat, but I just hate how these Democrats are trashing the President and undermining our security".
In reality, the caller is just some dittohead FReeper moron who said that so they would get a better chance of talking to Rush for longer.

8. I think this guy was on the up and up. There were 3-4 of these |
|
calls last night. He and these others had very good points and talked about the party they joined when they were young and how disappointed they have become with it. There was a sincerity in their voices you do not hear in those operatives voices who don't really believe what they are spouting. I believe these callers were all traditional conservatives in reality.

9. And now the question is: how will they vote |
|
I think a lot of the so-called "traditional conservatives" are starting to realize what a lie their whole political and idealogical philosophy is.
So many contradictions in the libertarian viewpoint.

4. The disparity is sure out in the open for all the folks in the |
|
country to see and understand.
It appears to me that the Democratic people of the leftwing have a hard time putting two words together, where the repukes never quit pointing fingers and talking about evil empires.

7. I watched the call ins and the rerun of the McCain hearing on cspan |
|
last night. There were quite a few Pub callers who are very upset with the corruption in DC. Although I can't imagin how anyone could defend any politician involved in the Abramoff mess, I was surprised that there weren't ANY sheeple who at least tried! Even the guest who was a reporter for the Weekly Standard was talkiing about how this is going to hurt Pubs badly.
