Musharraf says he will stay in uniform till 2007

ISLAMABAD — Defending his decision to retain the army post, President General Pervez Musharraf has insisted that democracy would not have survived if he had shed military uniform to honour public pledge in December 2004.


He said that for the sake of country, he would continue as army chief until 2007...
