"Fun with Dick & Jane" lambasts Enron execs, also a shot at Bush |

This is the remake with Jim Carrey; I just took my son the other day.
The evil company in the movie is clearly Enron (in fact the credits thank Enron, WorldCom, etc.), and the Ken Lay type played by Alec Baldwin is great.
There's a scene where Baldwin is hunting, and he's interviewed about the collapse of his company, and he says something about doing what he could to protect his employees, then says, "Now watch this shot." Hilarious.
It's not a very good movie, but I thought that was funny.

1. I plan to see it -- I'm sure that scene will bring down the house. |

when the problems started to hit Jim Carrey's family - I really felt bad laughing at any of it because I knew that there were a lot of people that this stuff really happened to them. I felt guilty for laughing. I must say that the ending of the movie did make me feel better.
