Rice says Sharon a "gigantic figure" in Middle East politics
that's some sensitive diplomatic language right there

http://www.metronews.ca/reuters_international.asp?id=120047

"
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice hailed Sharon, whose Gaza pullout raised hopes for peace, as a "gigantic figure" in Middle East politics. "We are concentrating our prayers and our thoughts on hope for his recovery," Rice said in Washington."

2. Helmut Kohl was a giant figure in German politics as well
Taft was a giant figure as president, a virtual mountain of flesh over
skinny T.roosevelt.

John Candy cast a giant shadow across commedy on his passing.

'when i think of mankind, i think of the 2 words, "mank" and "ind",
what do these words mean? Its a mystery and so is mankind.'

jack handy.. another dead man who's shadow is greater than the
entire republican party.

Its true, our society is evolving in to a society of giant figures.

aahhhh!!!

4. If only he were a more slender figure in Middle East politics
then he wouldn't be having so many problems.

5. I'm really sorry, but I see all this 'hope/recovery' language
I happen to know some things about brain hemorrhages and strokes. I lost my father this way. He had 3 emergency brain surgeries after his collapse, half his skull was removed and draining tubes installed.

The doctors/spokesmen for Sharon said he had a "massive cerebral hemorrhage". It's a fact that whatever brain tissue was touched by any blood from the hemorrhage, will no longer function. That in addition to the deprivation of oxygen to the brain caused by the stroke = massive and irreversible brain damage. Seeing the word 'massive' used tell me that many crucial centres of the brain were destroyed.

My father never regained consciousness, I pulled the plug after 1 week of these surgeries and trying to save him, it took him another 2 weeks to die. Very sad day for me and I feel tremendous sympathy for Sharon's family.

When chimpy and condizilla and snottyscotty release statements of prayer/hope/recovery when they know the ramifications of his condition; it's just plainly disrespectful and they're just trying to snow the rest of the world's populous so they can hang on to their amerikan/isreal plans. It's disgusting.

7. That sounds like a really tough thing to have to have gone through.
Sorry for you and your family. It is hard having a parent (or anyone else you love) go through this and have to make the decisions of what to do. As for Sharon, I think they are just waiting for the right time to announce his death.

6. Does the phrase "lacking in diplomatic skills" mean anything to her?
I have trouble believing that's an accident, and I have more trouble believing she should hold her current job if it was an accident.
