1. If you hover over it "Happy New Year" pops up.
If you click on it, it returns a search of "2006 new year". I'm not sure why they have a beaver. There's also a thing made of sticks that looks like a "6" but I'm sure is supposed to be a "g". I don't know what that's for either.

...There is a "2" drawn around the rising sun and through the mountan.

The two letter "o's" in Google stand in for the "00".

And the beaver built a "6" from wood that's also standing in as the second "g" in "Google."

That's 2006!
