Anybody else in L.A. area having trouble with AirAmerica reception?
Edited on Thu Jan-05-06 06:30 PM by PlanetBev
I live out in Thousand Oaks, and have always gotten a pretty decent reception until about a week ago. All of a sudden, I can barely tune in 1150 a.m. on either of my home radios. I'm having major Stephanie Miller withdrawals because of this.

Does anybody have any clue what causes this kind of thing?

2. I haven't noticed it but sometimes weather effects things
I'm in Glendale but I don't listen at home...only in my car. I stream it here at work.

3. I did notice that the problem started after we had those heavy rains

Hope it corrects itself. I stream it at home and work, but I do like to listen to it on my bedroom radio. Mike Malloy gives me a good laugh before I go to sleep. ("Ah, ya filty pigs.")

5. I noticed my FM stations coming in funny, now that I think about it
and that happened during/after the rain. I have to constantly go "retune" the radio to get them to come in OK.

7. I was wondering
if there are any solar flares going on. I'm getting crappy reception in Houston on several stations.
