11. As a Longhorn, I am deeply offended by that pic
And I'm sure a significant percentage of Longhorns and other Austin residents agree.

21. Oh. I didn't know that.
And I lived in the Arlington, Texas area for 8 years. My bad.

It's still an awful color for his complexion. They could have given him a tie with a lot of little longhorn symbols on it. Bleccchh, I can't believe I'm offering suggestions to improve his appearance.

16. haha

I am a Texas Ex Life Member, and I always root for A&M against ANY foreign team. Like us, your starters are about 95% the products of Texas high schools. Texan trumps Longhorn, IMHO. Except in the case of Smirky McDeath, as above. But, like someone said already, he only plays a Texan on TV.

18. btw
I have never been offended by that 'T-sip' thing because we don't really know what it means. Just like saying 'TU' only makes Aggies look stupid. And we are, in fact, THE premier Texas university, so 'TU' kinda makes sense. And it was TU back in the day. Now, Texas STATE, that name change is a travesty! haha.

Like I said, I like Aggies better than Sooners. I just don't like the fact that almost every Aggie I have ever met has been a WASPy-wannabe, W-loving, gun-totin', fag-hating wackjob. But not you obviously - congratulations - an Aggie mind is a terrible thing to waste.

19. It is very difficult to be an Aggie Democrat.
VERY difficult. So I feel more solidarity with quite a few Longhorns than I do with folks from my alma mater.

20. Kudos!
I'm sure there are a few hundred of you! The important thing is that you're a Texan and a liberal. haha

I know how you feel, though. I am from East Texas and am currently marooned back in my smallish hometown, having come back unexpectedly from four years living in (gasp) Europe. Major cultural dissonance. ;) I can't wait to move back to Austin.
