What he says has nothing to do with God. Robertson is not a Christian. He just needs a double dose of anti-psychotic drugs. God does not hand out punishments to people in the form of an illness, etc. He is giving God a bad name just as Bush and his supposed "religious right" are. These people have nothing to do with God. They have just hijacked His name to further evil. Just my opinion.

5. I agree with some of what you say.

Yeah, Roberston is nuckin' futz, but to millions of people sitting in front of their Teeee-Veeeees, he's Gawd's Annointed.

I don't know what to suggest, since I'm only one of "them Evil Atheists who HATES Gawd", but the fact that this guy remains on air while the loudest condemmnation of hihm goes along the lines of "Oh, but we're not THAT kind of Christian" says a lot to me.

For if the watchman see the sword come, and sounds not the horn, then the blood of the people are on HIS hands as well.

4. A lot of con men are attracted to the ministry

It is a profession that is easy to abuse, because ministers are automatically looked up to and trusted by most church goers. It is a profession where it is easy to acquire power and money. I would strongly urge any church goer to be a bit more skeptical about the sayings of a "man of the cloth", and read the Bible for themselves so they can decide if said man is really following the teachings therein.

I have never held any televangelist in high regard. I never watch them. I do not think our heavenly Father would approve of preaching on television with your toll free number running along the bottom of the screen asking for donations! No way is this Christian behavior. I can just imagine what God thinks when He looks down on those who are cheapening His words to acquire money and power.
