dear naturalized cubans living in MIAMI and elsewhere--
do you not recognize the similarities between the bush administration, the years of repression under the fulgencio batista y zaldivar's regime and the early days of the castro regime?

1. I am not Cuban
but I was thinking this morning of that same exact thing. I thought of how Castro ruled supposedly with an iron fist. Maybe he did because he knew all along what we are now discovering that the alternative was so much worse.

4. i have always believe that castro's communist clamp down on Cuba came
when, after coming to the United Nations towards the end of 1959 (I think it was) GENERALíSIMO DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER refused to meet with him--Nikita Kruschev on the other hand, took him in his arms, hugged him and said, what do you need? I do believe that if Eisenhower had not shown his arrogance towards a man who had just run the most murdering dictator (GENERAL FULGENCIO BATISTA Y ZALDIVAR) out of the country, things might have turned out differently in Cuba.

2. They still don't realize
that it was Poppy Bush who screwed them with the Bay of Pigs. They still blame Kennedy for the whole mess.

3. didn't kennedy hold-off on the air cover he had promised them because of
some LIEthat he discovered about the information that he was getting? I did have friends die in that invasion of Cuban by Cuban Exiles. However, i can't recall just what was the LIE of misinformation that was being handed down to Kennedy, nor what the truth was of what he discovered that caused him to cancel his support of the invasion. It was significant, and it was important, that i do believe.

5. One version that I heard
is that Bush Sr. had set up the whole operation and was planning to use the US military before Kennedy took office. When Kennedy became President and found out what Bush was planning, he pulled the plug of letting Bush use the military for obvious reasons, ie it would have been illegal.

6. that sounds so true to the bush character...and also to the Kennedy
character. Something very powerful moved Kennedy to go back on his word... And the fact that he was not willing to become smeared in bush shit makes him all that more honorable.

these bushes live to smear bush shit on everyone in this world! AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
