Mike Malloy visits Madison (video)
A short video of Mike Malloy's visit with a mention to DU. It was pretty cold but the crowd was great!

The video is pretty unedited but gives a flavor of the event. Enjoy!

QuickTime (14MB/2:45)

I'll post some photos later... gotta meet a deadline...

2. Thanx!
I love Mike, oh I love that man! I tuned in on him online on my 56k modem during his IE Americs Days. When I first heard this man. I felt like finally I was hearing someone who was telling it like it was, since even the so-called "liberals" were Rethuglican lite. He was so wonderful, so over the top to my teenage sons. They could not believe what they were hearing and did not have a political bone in their shortsighted bodies, but they could never resist when I had him on, so they and their friends would line up on the couch and listen to him with me. One night Mike did a Cheney routine as if Cheney was on acid and made the kids laugh so hard they fell off the couch. To this day my second son says he cannot think of anything but Mike's routine whenever he sees a picture of Cheney, lol.

Now Mike is on AAR and I get to listen to him every night on the local radio. I still sometimes cannot believe it that there is actusally something being aired that I can tune in on anytime I want without spending hours in front of the computer.

4. I first discovered Mike malloy when he was on WLS Chicago..
I've been addicted to him since the first time I heard him. During the Clinton impeachment he was absolutely a life saver.. I wished I had mp3 audios of some of those shows back then..

It was so sad the night he and Kathy signed off the show. It took me quite a while to re-locate him; but with my Son's help, we found him. I don't ever want to lose track of him and Kathy again.

9. I wish I could have hung out longer...
I could tell Mike was ready to rumble after warming his bones from the Winds of Thor that he encountered on his way there. Yep, it was a good crowd and I had to leave with more than an hour to go for his visit. I'd say at least 40-50 people had been there in the somewhat small bar.

Mike is really a nice guy to talk to...you'd never think that it's the same guy that goes into his wonderful rage...which I can't wait for tomorrow night!

10. He seemed really touched by the crowd and pretty mellow.
Yeah, I was struck by his calmness. I wonder if he does yoga or something?
