2. I'd never recommend this to any other parent,
but HW, take off the belt. Your son needs a fatherly lesson in the worst way.

5. Matthews might want to be careful!
Things like that can start an investigation into his sources. ;)

(sorry, couldn't resist.)

10. I hate it when he does that!!!
I'm not watching but, I really hate it when he'll make a remark that makes my jaw drop because he's taken a shot at Bush (or Republicans). Then he ropes me into watching, hoping for more or at the very least for more balance.

After a few weeks, I realize he snookered me...again! LOL!

8. That incident is in James Risen's book
Along with other horrifying information about who is actually running this country. Cheney and Rumsfeld are the real co-presidents. Bush provides fanatical fuel, but the real foreign policy decisions are made by Cheney and Rumsfeld. Risen makes it sound as if they have complete free reign. They carefully shield Bush from responsibility for any bad policy. They tell him only what he needs to know. Rumsfeld runs over anyone who opposes him. He slammed George Tenet into the ground, and treated Condoleeza Rice like the nanny who was just there to keep Bush entertained and out of the way.

Everyone should read the book. DUers won't be surprised. It confirms much of what we aoready thought about who is running the country.

9. i wonder how much truth there is to that
i do recall hearing about sr. dissing jr. about the neocons, some time ago.

But sr is hardly any better then jr. If only for his involvement in the Carlyle Group.

18. CIA Poppy created him as a way to extend his power and influence into the
21st Century. The experiment is failing and we will all eventually reap the consequences... like we already have in New Orleans.
