Homeowners paid the inflated prices. The developers just met the demand.

2. the tax cut money for the rich was invested in Real Estate.. they didn't
need the money.. so they used it for investments creating the housing bubble.

3. That's called capitalism...
Real estate was a good investment. EVERYBODY in those areas saw their home prices rise, rich and not-so-rich alike. Now, like the stock market does from time to time, the housing market is correcting itself.

Housing is just like any other investment. Losses are possible.
