THE IRS VIOLATED THE 24th AMENDMENT
If you haven't yet seen this article, you should:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=102&topic_id=2023959&mesg_id=2025424

The IRS is tracking political party affiliation. There is NO REASON to do this EXCEPT to use it as BIAS.

This action violates the 24th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Section 1.
The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay poll tax or other tax.

By tracking political affiliation, they are threatening those whose party is NOT IN POWER. The IRS is part of the Republican Controlled Administration.

Just tracking this information is THREATENING to the minority party, abridging their right to vote.

3. Also the First and the Fifth through Tenth...
In fact, other than the Third, the entire Bill of Rights is pretty much done.

4. Not swiss cheese, it's made out of paper
"Just a goddamn piece of paper."

Yeah, it's probably not an accurate Bush quote, but it is an accurate Bush attitude.

6. RANT: Tell my why is it that the government leaders currently
Edited on Fri Jan-06-06 01:33 PM by olafvikingr
fucking up our Nation can continue to break the law, and then either:

1) Claim that particular law does not apply to them

2) Say "oops" as soon as we realized it, we fixed it, and we didn't do anything unscrupulous, because well THAT would be illegal.

I AM SO TIRED OF THIS SHIT!

If I sat on my back porch with a joint in my hand puffing away and a cop came to arrest my mellow ass; I could not use the above excuses. Sorry officer, you do not have authority to bust me for that. According to my rights as a citizen...blah...blah...blah...

That is what the officer would hear. Why, because he may not personally mind as a citizen (and he might), but it is his duty as an officer of the law to enforce it.

If the IRS illegally collects political info, they just don't get to say sorry and go about their buisness. Doesn't work for me, doesn't get to work for them. Whoever set up this policy should be criminally prosecuted. Period.

Bush does not just get to circumvent intelligence laws, torture laws, etc. I'm President and I'll do as I please. FUCK YOU!! At some point, a sufficient number of people will reach their total fucking cracking point, and you will be done. You want to know why? Because despite his best efforts he can not completely control our media; and by media I mean the INTERNET. Hitler got as far as he did because the citizens of Germany didn't have a fucking internet! They did not have a network where information could freely shared. Try as they might, that is one information outlet the Bush Brainiacs have not been able to control. So as we continue to get more info, it gets harder to control. We are too used to freedom, and whether he likes it or not, the middle road folks in this country, combined with the left OUTNUMBER their sorry asses! So what do you think of that you arrogant punk bitch? Keep sweating. I like it. I'm impatient, but you will eventually answer to the PEOPLE!!

P.S. Agent Mike, I made no threats to the President, so don't fucking bother me.

8. They sure did learn some lessons from the old communist
regimes... lets see... spying on all aspects of citizen's lives *check - just have to find a trigger - someone who knew someone who spoke with someone outside of the country... that lets us spy on that person and all they are in contact with*

lets see... determining political party and beginning to assert govt power to create a one-party system *check - for other than intimidation - what would be the purpose?*

We aren't there yet - but these stories coming fast and furious - suggest the infrastructure/rules/apparatuses are being put in place that could easily be used to enforce a one-party, totalitarian state. That should frighten ALL americans.

9. Under Fascism, all aspects of the state and government
Edited on Fri Jan-06-06 02:02 PM by kenny blankenship
are either replaced with corresponding organs of the Party or hollowed out and refilled top to bottom with the Party's men and the Party's agenda. (sometimes a corresponding organ of the Party is placed over the existing non-partisan institution of government usually absorbing it over time) The first line of that agenda reads "To monopolize power for the Party and to punish enemies."
The party is never to lose power, so the entire government (which is where power is concentrated) must be converted to an aspect of the party instead of the party being only one aspect of the country's political culture. There must be no remainder. The party is never to lose power, therefore any who might one day bring about its downfall must be found out, and suppressed or exterminated.
