Question: What makes someone a traitor?
Al Franken just read his daily hate mail. It was from someone who called him (and everyone at AAR) a traitor. He never explained WHY they were traitors. This made me wonder-what is the definition of a traitor for a freeper? And what is the liberal/progressive definition of a traitor?

1. Freepers think anyone who is not a freeper is a traitor. "If you are not
with us, you are against us."

Freeper Definition: Democrat,Progressive or anyone else who will not bend over and kiss bushes ass.

liberal/progressive definition: Some one who commits treason against the US.

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort"

4. Let me give this a shot.
To a freeper, a traitor would be anyone who even merely dissents by using their freedom of speech against Bush and/or the Republican party. They are sheep, and their definition is based purely on politics.

To a liberal/progressive, a traitor would be anyone who commits an act against the United States or its people as defined in the Constitution and the laws of this country. Not based on politics.

5. I'll take a stab at this:
The Freeper definition of a traitor is this: Someone who doesnt completely agree with GOP talking points or ideals, and someone who doesnt bend over and kiss the president's ass or the GOP's ass. Someone who doesnt get all their politics from AM hate radio hosts like Hal Turner or Rush Limbaugh.

The liberal definition: Someone who does something stupid like starting a war by trying to equate someone who didnt have anything to do with a disaster like 9/11, causing the deaths of over 2100 troops. Meanwhile on the home front, said individual starts a police state by issuing unwarranted wiretaps on thousands of civilians.

OR, someone who does something stupid like outing a CIA operative to save their own asses.

6. wouldn't outing the valerie plame woman be an act of treason? and if so,

7. yes, the person who outed her is a traitor. If it wasn't * himself, then
as that person's boss, *, who said that anyone who leaked Plame should be removed from government. If the buck stops with * (meaning he is responsible) then it would follow that * should be removing himself from the presidency? He is our fucking employee, the Presidency is an office, and he is a temporary resident of that office (albeit illegally). Vacate!!

8. My idea of being a traitor is different from a country-based definition.
Anyone who intentionally does something that makes the human condition worse, causing suffering and death, is a traitor to humanity.

10. For Me Its .....
For me anyone who seeks to destroy our Constitutional form of government or gives aid to someone who wishes to destroy it is guilty of treason.

The nation is not bound by seas and borders, it is bounded by its Constitution. It is the supreme representation of the nation. To oppose it is to be an enemy of the nation - and that is Treason.

12. Beat me to it
Oliver North never wore his uniform when he was working at the White House, but he sure found it in a hurry when he had to stand in front of the Senate TO LIE HIS ASS OFF.

A traitor that should be doing time in Leavenworth right now. Just like his comrade-in-arms Adml. Poindexter, who happens to be working for the current criminal gang in charge. Once a traitor, always a traitor, I guess.

13. Getting a BJ in the white house for starters
Then not supporting a bogus war

Disagreeing with Bill O'lielly or Shithead hannity

Disagreeing with drug addict Rush Limbaugh

Not buying the party line regardless of the price

Asking the President a question for which he has not been proper prepared

Have the gall to question war

Wanting to keep the rights we're supposed fighting to bring to another country

The list is simply too long to cover in just a few hours so remember this.....

If you reading this you're a traitor and HATE AMERICA.

Thanks for listening
