Coming up on "Meet the Press," a Sunday exclusive with the author who broke the story about President Bush approving the eavesdropping on U.S. conversations without court approval: New York Times reporter James Risen. Risen will join us to talk about his controversial article and his new book, "State of War: The Secret History of the CIA and the Bush Administration."

Then, high-powered lobbyist and fundraiser Jack Abramoff pleaded guilty this week to three felony charges. What affect will his plea deal have on Washington and on Congress? To answer those questions and to preview the upcoming Supreme Court nomination hearings of Samuel Alito, we will have an exclusive interview with two key members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY). What questions will they ask Judge Alito? What can we expect to learn from the hearings?

And with the Supreme Court and personal privacy in the spotlight, we will host a debate over the issue of abortion and the meaning of "feminism" with two female authors with two very different views: Kate Michelman, author of, "With Liberty and Justice for All: A Life Spent Protecting the Right to Choose" and Kate O'Beirne, author of "Women Who Make the World Worse and How Their Radical Feminist Assault Is Ruining Our Schools, Families, Military, and Sports."

All coming up on "Meet the Press."

Tim Russert is moderator of "Meet the Press." Betsy Fischer is the executive producer. Michelle Jaconi and Rebecca Samuels are producers.

1. Russert keeping Alito debate on abortion instead of fascism. Miner unions
should be explaining how probusiness judges are ruining this country and are endangering the lives of the labor force.

2. Well, the Risen interview will be worth something, anyway
Amazing how, ever since Timmy got caught up in the Plame thing, that Meet the PRESS has started to include people from the PRESS, rather than being one-hour asskissing displays featuring Dick, Condi, et. al. Administration officials no longer beat a path to old Potato Head's door anymore, do they?

And there might be a good exchange or two with the two Judiciary committee guys squaring off...of course, Timmy figures he's gotta finish with a good old fashioned catfight (if Kate gets any more plastic surgery, that dimple in her chin will be her bellybutton--it'll be interesting to see if she can actually talk coherently since all that dental work has settled in)--why don't they just get a swimming pool full of jello and have a wrestling contest???

3. Since IRS has admitted collecting party affiliation, shouldn't we
call email MTP or atleast Shumer and ask that the subject be addressed?
