The answer to Hannity & Colmes - Colbert & Franken!
I missed the Colbert Report last night and just saw the rerun.

Being a Southerner, I have always heard the expression "knee slappin' funny" but never really understood it. During Colbert's interview with Al Franken, I literally found myself pounding on my leg and knee because I couldn't laugh hard enough!

It was just so, so....., PERFECT! After about 30 seconds of feeling each other out, they just clicked like they had been doing this together all their lives.

The call-in section was great, especially the last one:

Caller: Stephen, Why does Al hate our troops?
Al: good question, but I think I already ans...
Caller: I didn't ask you, I asked Stephen!
Stephen: (RW BS, RW BS)
AL: That was an interesting answer, but can I respond?
Stephen: NO. We're out of time.
Me: (laughing so hard I fell out of my chair and just kept on laughing....)

What chemistry! I want to see the Colbert & Franken Show! Even if it's just once a week. Once a MONTH! I WANT MORE!!!!!!

2. We just watched the re-run, it was perfect
Both of them are spontaneous, and keep things going. They are excellent at their craft. Wish we could see more of this type of shows.:bounce:  :loveya:

4. Saw it this morning, funny indeed, but true, especially the end when
Colbert said sorry Al were out of time. that was a text book classic example of how the media treats Democrats on TV today. The Repukes get 15min of lying fame and our rebuttels are limited to a 30sec bit at the end with the infamous, "Sorry we're out of time."
