Results came from Dave Leip's Electoral Atlas - excellent site

on edit:
One more trivia. The most Bush-regretful states to have voted for Kerry are Delaware and Maine.

4. Well, Bush has no remorse, but 10% of your fellow Illinoisans do
2004 votes for Bush outstrip 2006 approval for Bush by 9.5%. But if it makes you feel better, Illinois is 7th out of 50 on the "Unsurprised Index" (which is what you get when you subtract Bush's disapproval rating from a state's Kerry votes. The 10 least surprised states are:

Hawaii - 4.0%
Minnesota-6.9%
Mississippi-7.3%
Wisconsin- 7.3%
Arizona - 7.6%
Vermont - 8.1%
Illinois - 8.2%
Washington- 8.2%
California- 8.7%
Massachusetts-9.1%

You can also call this the "I Told You So" Index.

3. Not to quibble, but remorse isn' the right term here.
I think those states, given the same choice now as in 2004, would still vote for Busholini over Kerry. They may not be happy with Bush now, but Kerry would have allowed gays to marry, taken away their guns, taken the Bible out of bookstores, given more welfare to minorities, and given free abortions to everyone.

So, they have no remorse over their vote.

6. I think you might be overgeneralizing. Those voters still approve of Bush
You're talking about the 38% of voters who either still approve of Bush's job performance or are on crack.

I LOVE THAT!!

My boss is so pro-bush I can't stand him anymore..
He has FOX news on all day, at his desk, and his laptop nest to him zeroing in on freeperland..
Its his business I work for so if it goes into the toilet its his own fault for not paying attention..
Bush ain't going to save him when his business goes belly-up.

I should change his always-on-line web site to DU or Can-o-Fun when he's at lunch..
It would be worth it to see his fat fundi head explode.

btw, I'm in Dallas!! HAAAAAAAAAA 20% regret Bush.
