The Repopulation of New Orleans After Hurricane Katrina

From the RAND Institute's Gulf Policy group. The link is to an intermediary source that provides links to both an 8-page summary and the full report.

"The population of New Orleans will likely reach about 272,000 in September 2008 – amounting to 56 percent of the population of 485,000 before Hurricane Katrina struck in August, according to a study issued today by the RAND Corporation."

2. Most definitely
I find it to be a really useful resource for keeping up-to-date on what is referred to on items that aren't published in journals or other indexes sources, grey literature.
