that Sharon's health condition may not be due to natural causes? That someone may have "William Casey"-ed him? (Casey, then CIA Director, died of a stroke the night before he was to testify before Congress on Watergate, ca. 1973.)

Why take out Sharon? Maybe because he was planning more land-for-peace action after the next election.

And the death was attributed to brain cancer.

...knowledge of who briefed Reagan, and what Reagan knew, and when. I don't know what they were thinking--that Casey's brain could be hooked up to electrodes and made to speak at the hearings--like that guy in the old science fiction movie, "Donovan's Brain"?

Or is it MY brain that's a bit fuzzed right now, mixing up some of the many Reagan-Bush black ops? Not sure. Didn't his brain vanish?

in one of the Big DC hospitals. He had been comatose for sometime...due to his brain tumor. Woodward claimed he snuck into his room and Casey (in a coma) told him that Reagan had authorized Iran Contra. Casey died shortly after that, peacefully drifted away from his comatose state.

25. I think it was around 300 lbs. It's amazing he didn't need a quintuple

bypass! But, the reports were that his blood pressure was good and his cholesterol was low. :eyes: I guess he had very good genes. And, one would think with his important position that he was getting annual physicals...so the weight must not have been a concern with all other factors being normal.

24. Welllll.............I think many folks just didn't want to suggest

how convenient it appeared to be. Especially since here in the US Doctors in better hospitals take their patients OFF blood thinners a few days before surgery because of the chance of excessive bleeding. Sharon was scheduled to have his "umbrella surgery" to repair the hole in his heart just the day after his stroke. Now...maybe they took him off the meds and he had the stroke because it was ready to happen and they just haven't mentioned that...although reports said the blood thinners made his operation for the stroke much more dangerous with bleeding.

Who knows. He might have had lousy doctors. Even the best Medical Centers and some of the most renowned doctors aren't always as great as one might think. Duke University ended up losing a famous Iraq patient because the wrong organ was delivered and placed in her body... And she had the BEST because Bush wanted to make it a PR Opportunity.

Who knows...but his situation does appear to have been mismanaged in them waiting so long to do the "umbrella surgery," if his condition was precarious enough that he was prone to another stroke. :shrug: Maybe he put off the surgery for his own reasons, too. And, that was fateful.
