We watched you on C-span. You are doing a wonderful job. Please do not let the right winged hacks beat you down. You do speak of the majority of Americans. I would love to have you as my representative! Keep up the good work and get the word out about the mishandling of this war. Between yourself and Rep Conyers America is blessed. My husband wrote an opinion article back in December in the Lansing State Journal with regards to the right winged attacks on you. His opinion article was printed. I can tell you that in the Lansing State Journal there are many more people for you, than against.

My father is now deceased and he was a POW of World War II veteran for 2 or 3 years in Germany. I am sure without any doubts that he would have supported your efforts. He is one of my heroes and so are you. This email officially adopts you being my representative of the great state of MI for Keeps . We do have your back Mr. Murtha.

3. Thank you for this, Pam-moby - it never occured to me that I could, uh,

"fudge" a little on my real zip code! My late father was in the Marine Corps for 32 years (Iwo Jima vet, Korean War) and would be so bewildered to see what is happening in his beloved country these days. I have been cheering Rep. Murtha since he first made his stand on Iraq - a month ago, was it? So I heartilly thank you for showing me how to personally contact him (and I will continue to do so!).

5. My pleasure, my honor, my duty to do so! I told him that he is drawing

an unusual amount of attention to himself that he probably doesn't even want, but that's because he is one of only a handful of high-profile people willing to stand up and speak the truth...but if we "keep in touch", he hopefully won't feel too lonely!!! The future of America rests on so few able shoulders right now, isn't it just surreal and incomprehensible? We literally NEED this man to keep doing what he's doing.
