I hate when key people get sick for a longtime and not die

I hate to have to follow the story and listen to my TV go on and on about how ill they are, what the test said today, who is breathing...etc.

The Pope story wore me out I guess, felt like he was dying for 15 years...I hope Sharon's does not turn out the same.

On my TV are the Sharon story and the guy from the mine accident!!!

the venom should be directed at the media who invade the lives and inundate us with the minute-by-minute 'death-watch' of these poor people.

I'm always deeply suspicious that they've already died, but that the news is kept secret for a few days to allow time to prepare a successor, and to prepare the public for the idea that the person is likely to die.
