Question re Sharon
When they finally announce that he is brain dead, will Bush et al insist that they keep him alive like Terry Schiavo.

1. Wait - he is improving.
Lat I heard this morning. I still don't have any idea what that means.

But, hopefully, they won't keep him alive on machines, prop him up in front of the window and have someone wave his hand.

6. BBC latest update
going on now -say slight improvement. Doctors meeting to discuss situation. Situation difficult. Apparently there is a lung problem now. The most telling comment was that the right side of the brain is in better condition than the left side. Duh!!

4. Well, think about it.
They could just stuff him and and automate him and he could go on for years. Only need to dust him off once in a while.

That isn't very respectful, is it. But I have not been a fan of the way the Israelis have treated the Palestinians. I know its complicated but I just think they could have handled the situation in a different manner.
