3.5 years into his leadership, he bares his fangs. Israel becomes the most powerful in the mideast, hegemony and all.

1. Except, I always thought that the anti-christ
would be a lot smarter and better looking. Oh well, so much for preconceived notions.

The bible plays up the anti-christ as being extremely charismatic, able to attract many "fake" followers (though this twerp's done that) and made him sound like a smooth player.

This bumbling turd just isn't that. I don't get it. I know I'm not the only one who thinks he sounds mental, and comes across as elementary and completely stupid...

4. According to Nostradamus
The antichrist would be of little consequence. Also pertinent is the according to Muslim predictions of the endtime he won't appear until the fall of Constantinople. It is important to realize that in Muslim theology Anti-christ means the person that is the leader of anti-christianity. In other words a good guy to them.

He is a prophet and very important to them.

5. Well, the program just said that the AntiChrist would speak
with authority and that people would be spellbound. I believe that leaves * out. Otherwise, it does indeed sound like him.

12. Unfortunately, the knuckle draggers ARE spellbound by * ...
George's 'You're either with us or against us' macho Cowboy blather is authoritative, even if his command of English is wretched and every other word out of his mouth is a lie.

Also, I read somewhere that the AC would 'pose as a man of peace, but actually be a warmonger' ...

Hmmm. I used to think it was the Popster, but ... my opinion's changing ...

who are ultimately so committed that they can never turn back to create his movement.

7. Wouldn't the Anti-Christ be the opposite of what Jesus was?
Jesus had charm, a way with words, built up a church using very little money. Exported the religion using very little money. Helped people. Threw out the money changers and called for fairness and love they neighbor and keeping the 10 commandments. * does seem to be the exact opposite.

27. How's this for opposite ? John Ch 8 Verse 44 .....
"44": Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." -snip-

So tell me how many lies has Bush and his cronies told? And continue to tell unabated? And how many innocent people have died so far from these lies? I'm just saying  Peace. :)

23. Have you noticed in that program
that when the fundie wackos are interviewed they explain that peace on Earth is something to be distrusted because only the Anti-Christ has the power to unite the world under peace before "bearing his fangs.?" That would mean that these fundies are actually scared or wary of anyone trying to promote peace.

25. NOW you understand the Bushistas' agenda for war.
That is why they absolutely must support Israel.
But, if this god person is so powerful, no human activity (or prayer) can change what will be.

If god is all powerful, all knowing, all aware, then why does he/she/it continue to have this fatal flaw - this need for adulation and obedience? That suggests that god is flawed. Therefore, god is not god.
If god is all powerful, etc., why does he allow the anti-christ to appear? For entertainment? Does that mean that god is bored and needs to set devils against angels like a cosmic board game?

24. As I was watching it, I thought the same thing, that it could be Bush.
And I am an atheist, so if there is any such creature as the antiChrist, it would have to be that demon in the WH.

28. JMO, but I find the "Left Behind" series....
which came about in the 80's and followed by the Christian right, a kind of psych.
Manipulation of the people who follow that agenda. Or maybe, I see it this way because I live in the south where the Anti-Christ concept has flourished.
