I think "terrorism" is war between the strong and the weak.
Technology has changed it from car bombs to WMDs. "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" is truer then we think.

10. I did some quick reading of Mr. Quigly's writing.
That's exactly what's happening. The UN is taking over all the parliamentary democracies slowly but surely. Even Isael and Britain. Lucky the US has a federalist goverment.

15. I will have to read more of his theories.
I think international finance has a deeper meaning, and it's influence around the globe should be interesting reading.

7. According to military theory, you are right.
It's unconventional warfare in which a weaker power confronts a stonger power. The goal is to force the stronger power to devote resources to fighting a shadow enemy. The goal is not to kill, but to make the enemy believe that it's about to be assaulted at any minute, which, again, causes the stronger power to throw its resources toward fighting an invisible enemy.

24. What's happening in this country is something that should alarm
republicans, democrats, socialists, anarchists, liberterians, etc.

The government is continually becoming more secretive and clandestine, while the private lives of U.S. citizens are continually becoming more exposed and scrutinized.

That is not the American way. And most people in this country don't seem to give a shit.

20. Well, I have to tell you
My dad was a die-hard republican. We used to argue all the time. But before he passed away in Jan. 2001, he told me that bush stole the election and these republicans weren't his republicans.

Of course, that didn't mean he voted for gore. He just didn't vote that year. He wanted McCain. That was the first election he didn't vote in.

26. There's the old-school republicans
The ones who love Barry Goldwater and are fiscally conservative. And there are the neo-cons, who are nothing but nazis.

33. Honestly, I've found nothing THAT terrible in his posts....
Edited on Sun Jan-08-06 07:29 AM by Maddy McCall
I'd like to know why he was banned. Did the mods know something that we didn't, such as his IP addy showed that he was someone who had already been tombstoned before?

I just came back to this conversation, and I really see nothing that warranted banning...wonder what happened?

Edit to add: His mistrust of the UN is a Republican line, but besides that, what else?

34. I was wondering the same thing
I've seen them ban people who were much more obvious than that at disrupting. Jesus Saves, for one. So I'm assuming it's something we don't know.
