Poll question: If you could get rid of one Fundie who would it be?.
I am not asking that anything bad happen to these people. I just want them sent off to limbo where there poison can't do any further damage to this country. I hope I got Donahue's name right he's the guy on tweety's show that shoots his mouth about "proper" catholics all the time.

3. Jack Thompson
The asshole down in Miami who spends all day violently wacking off while listening to Neil Rogers and Howard Stern for "indecency". What a supreme piece of CRAP.

8. Other...
My in-laws. They have lived long albeit unhappy lives (all the hate and anger tends to make you bitter), and we could really use a percentage of the money they've saved on capital gains taxes in the last five years.

*ok, I don't really want them to die, at least not till they have repented from their evil fundie ways and saved their immortal souls;)

10. I don't want to get rid of any of them, I just want a media that stops
promoting the right wing fundie message as though it were true. Pat Robertson and James Dobson and Ralph Reed are welcome to their opinions, and their audience is welcome to listen to whomever they want, but the national media should stop reporting on their issues as though they were more significant than they are. Intelligent Design should be treated like Flat Earth theories, anti-abortion people should be treated like the "Women are too frail to vote" movements of the past. Treat them like the fringe lunatics they are, and politicians will be laughed at for pandering to them, and they will cease to have an impact on this nation.

13. Other. Flip Benham. He's a nutcase.
He's "pro-life", but advocates killing doctors because they perform abortions.

14. Why has Dobson got more votes than the others (at this point)???
Apart from him saying "he has connections" when it comes to the White House, he may be misguided but not plain evil like Pat Robertson (who if I was a Catholic priest right now would insist that he sits confessional).

20. Because Robertson and Phelps make them look so bad
that we don't mind so much if they keep on doing what they're doing for a little while longer.

Where as Dobson is more dangerous because he comes off not as a nut, but more like mister normal with all his warm and fuzzy talk.

15. TIM LAHAYE
The author of the Left Behind books is one of the founding fathers of the Dominionist movement.

Of course, he himself doesn't have to vanish to limbo -- he's about a hundred and seven and is sure to kick off any time now -- but if those awful books would disappear I would be delighted.

And he can take Beverly with him.

18. the Pope
He probably has more world wide influence and this guy is scary! Remember he is the one who started the Catholic slide from Kerry with his decree of excommunication for being prochoice. He's a wacko.

19. You could pick all of them...
I almost had to choose Donohue, I don't like him either, but then I thought Dobson, because I think his organization carries more clout. They're all dangerous assholes.
