Would immigration be a hot topic had we not lost good jobs? |

During the Clinton Administration, when real wages rose across the economic levels, no one was talking about "jobs that Americans do not want."
But now, when the middle class is shrinking while the top income continue to collect gifts from the Bush administration, all of a sudden we are supposed to be happy picking lettuce and taking care of other people's mansions, gardens, and kids.

'cause job loss is one asspect but "national security" is another. If lettuce pickers can cross the Rio Grande why can't AQ members or some such.

Physical labor is good for the corporeal body.
And if the rich can't take care of their own kids, then they have problems. That's called "family values". Being able to take care of your own kids.
