"War On Christians" ...and other nonsense

With 80% proclaiming to be Christian, in the USA, of course it's a scam.
This nonsensical "War on Christians" rhetoric fires up the base and fills the church coffers with donations.

Quite simple really:
Make up a phony threat...get the RW talking heads to push it on the airwaves...and watch the money flow in from the fearful, brain-dead sheep who buy into it.

Same thing with the phony "War On Christmas" stupidity.

Hell...how about every "War On (fill in the blank)" nonsense?
Somebody, public or private, is scoring big money off of all of them.
We the taxpayers lose.

9. And The Easter Bunny Has To Do With Easter How?
Other than a cute, commercial way to celebrate a religious holiday and the lifting of a tradition that was not affiliated with Christianity in any way, now how is anyone attacking Easter?

As a Christian, the Easter Bunny is for kids. But it has nothing to do with Easter really.

(I won't tell my son that yet)

3. They'll believe anything...
the ability to believe anything (no matter how unlikely or fantastic) with either no evidence or evidence to the contrary is actually considered a positive trait in their worldview.

Alas, the forces of political darkness out there finally realized this and decided to take advantage of the opportunity.

Though, the lowest of the low, the talking heads that support those opportunistic forces really deserve to be publicly flogged for their part in all this.

4. what a crock
xians have been abusing, harassing and brutalizing other religions in this country for centuries, and yet they can somehow summon the gaul to claim they're being presecuted.

The mind boggles.

13. They forget The Crusades or...
...how the Missionaries softened up the Native Americans for the Spaniard cruelty to follow.
Just to name two.

5. Actually, this War is a smart offensive. Planned, plotted and timely.
Most of America is waking up to the fact that these same religious idiots have led us into two wars, one justified, one not; the destruction of the separation of church and state; the destruction of our constitution, a growing economic disaster, criminals running amuck in Congress and the Executive, and behind it all? the Religious Righteous.

They suspected that their time was almost up, so it was a timely move on their part to claim that some War of Christianity is taking place, BEFORE the vast majority of Americans start speaking their mind as to the damage done by them.
It is not a phony war, it is a war of distraction, intended to protect them from our wrath.

6. Welcome to The Fourth Reich
There is no difference between Frist's "War on Christians" speech and Hitler's beer-hall speeches.

It is a call to arms. It's a call to commit Genocide.

And as for the 16% of Jews who identify as Republican, they are all Nazi collaborator race traitors.

And that goes for the 22% of gay people who voted for Bush... and the Log Cabin Republicans.

8. There's a war alright
But it ain't on the Christian population. It's a war on the Constitution, on integrity, intelligence and the truth. Take a look at the Faith Based Initiative. Brought to you by GW Bush & his dedicated gang of followers who have zero regard for the Constitution, Bill of Rights or the written law. Since enacting this crock of crap, the line between church and state is blurred. Something that the forefather's were so concerned about that Jefferson insisted that the first amendment address this:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" meaning that the government shall not establish a state religion or interfere with the business of the church -- when putting these two together; no government established church and not prohibiting freedom of religion, it means that the two, government and church shall not MEET in any way. duh. The Faith Based Initiative is unconstitutional.

So, since there is some imagined war on Christian's, why is it that I am feeling like I can't drive around with a Jesus fish with a line drawn through it, proclaiming my disgust for the nonsense of Christianity? I already have enough telltale bumper decor registering my political beliefs. If I added a Darwin-Fish, I'd be lynched.

War my ass. It's a war on being alert, alive and aware.

The other day I saw a license plate frame that said "In the event of the rapture, this car will be unmanned!" I found this to be offensive. Should the woman driving the car be stoned? Hell no. I don't care if they want to buy into the sin now, get forgiven and go to heaven plan.

War on Christianity... sounds like insanity.

11. It's always an imminent threat.
They learned it from the hucksters who say, "Supplies are limited, so call right now!" A moment's consideration might show the flimsiness of their pitch, so they don't dare give you time to think.

Do as you're told, quickly. And no back-talk, ya rube.
