My husband and his USMC Reserve unit have officially left Iraq and are en route back to the states!

They are all okay, which is a miracle, and will be back in Massachusetts on Friday!

his contract is up in June, so he doesn't have to worry about redeployment, but I imagine the unit as a whole is subject to the possibility of a future deployment...

sometimes I feel guilty for being able to celebrate a homecoming, but of course I am happy about it as well.
