Rush Limbaugh worked for the Kansas City Royals baseball team?
So, I was reading in my current bedtime book <http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0679765417/qid=1136747831/sr=8-3/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl14/002-9218923-5841610?n=507846&s=books&v=glance|Baseball>
by Ken Burns, and in one of the side stories written by a guest writer (forgot who) mentioned offhand that Rush worked for the Kansas City Royals baseball team.

Anyone know in what capacity he worked for them?

3. From Wikipedia
After dropping out of Southeast Missouri State University and getting his draft waiver, he moved to Pittsburgh and became a Top 40 music radio disc jockey on station WIXZ.

In October 1972, he moved to KQV, using the name Jeff Christie. It was in Pittsburgh that many of Limbaugh's trademarks developed, such as a claim to use a "golden microphone." (which eventually became true in the 1990s on The Rush Limbaugh Show) After several years in music radio, Limbaugh took a break from radio and accepted a position as director of promotions with the Kansas City Royals baseball team.

4. Group sales.
I have a friend in baseball who worked for the Royals at the time, she's now with another team, who absolutely loathes him. Wish I could post some of her stories but that would be hearsay.

Rest assured he seems to be every bit the asshole we think he is. :-)

10. True. Sexist, asshole pig. My friend reminds me a lot of 'Maude'
not in looks (Karen Huge) but in demeanor. She had quite a few dust ups with the Wonder Pig.

I'm gonna e-mail her to see if she'll give me a collection of greatest hits. }(

8. he made up statistics and lied about the other teams
the Royals were undefeated the whole time he worked for them. In fact, while he worked there, they had never lost a game in their entire history.
