ROAD TO THE WHITE HOUSE - WES CLARK. WATCH IT!!!!!! |
|
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ... I BEG YOU ... PLEASE! Watch this weekend's "Road to the White House" segment featuring Wesley Clark. It was not about 2008, he's currently very actively campaigning for 2006 Congressional Democrats, esp. those challenging Republican incumbents.
The speech is brief but very interesting. What really blew me away was the Q&A session that followed. He speaks with a wisdom and clarity that is absolutely BRILLIANT. (After the Q&A, keep watching the part where he greets people -- he has some interesting comments on China and the trade deficit.)
It will be on tonight at 11pm Eastern, and always available on cspan.org.
The more I get to know this guy, the more I admire him. He's a national treasure.

2. It was a terrific speech |

though I was sorry that 45 minutes of the hour was taken up with Joe Biden and only 15 minutes for Wes Clark.
I am always impressed with his knowledge of geopolitics. He explains his positions clearly and without pandering or waffling. I will support whatever he decides to do in 2008. If he decides to run again I guess I'll be out there tabling in parking lots again.

4. hey, Frenchie ... I hear ya! |
|
I'm  too.
But we are so damn fortunate that he's still out there working so hard for other dems. He's not only brilliant, he's also very generous. He's so obviously in this for the public good, not for his ego.
LOVE YA, WES!!!!

|
and having to look at those cheekbones while he's articulating sure don't hurt none!
