My note to a state rep friend in CT re: UConn's support of FOX

(Tinfoil hat time---I am not even gonna name by friend)

Dear State Rep,
While I was flipping channels this am to see who was on the morning talk shows, I saw/heard something on Fox network: “Sponsored by the University of Connecticut.” (I don’t know if it was one program or the entire network that was sponsored).

As you probably know, Fox is a very right wing network, hiring the likes of Hannity, O’Reilly and other liars I generally don’t watch but know about. It’s the channel Cheney Fudd likes to have on when he enters his hotel room. Anyhow, I’m wondering why UConn and we taxpayers (who pay to keep UConn afloat and growing) are supporting a right wing privately owned media conglomerate.
