I suspect it has been for several decades BEFORE he left the bloatway.

Can't be involved with those people that gave those black people rights now, can we?

Scary that people like Helms have formed our laws, and led the direction of our country. And we wonder why it's such a mess, now.

I'll never forget one day when I was 13 or so; riding with my mother in the car and expressing my wish that J Helms would die. Yes; it's extreme; and I probably shouldn't have said it-my mother reprimanded me sternly. However; I can't help thinking.......
I knew; even then; what that man was doing.
